Deco Design

Micron 05 on mixed media paper

Art Deco design of the 1920s has always appealed to me.  Maybe I've been thinking about it lately because we've been watching Downton Abbey for the second time around.

Anyway, it's inspired some new ideas to explore over the next few weeks.

  2. Obviously your blockade vanished and you are filled up with new ideas and
are inspired again. I'm so glad about that, Chris!!
Your micron drawing is wonderful. It's unbelievable how you can create such
an expression in her eyes just with black and white. And I like that you
have chosen just a half of her face to paint.

    1. Thanks, Hilda. We saw Downton Abbey for the first time about 9 months ago. A soap opera, for sure, but very entertaining. Maggie Smith often steals the show!
